What we do

SBKA supports, promotes and teaches

beekeeping in the Stroud area. Whether you have bees,
are thinking of keeping bees, young or old, we offer activities and training
that will suit your needs.

In the winter we have Branch Meetings. In the summer our activities are centred at our well equipped Apiary near Slad.

SBKA runs a range of training courses for beekeepers.

Joining Stroud Beekeepers' Association gives you:

  • Contact with other local beekeepers

  • Involvement in training activities run by SBKA

  • Access to expert training & advice at the branch apiary

  • Free insurance for up to three hives

  • Membership of the British Beekeepers' Association
(BBKA), which includes BBKA Monthly News

  • Membership of the Gloucestershire Beekeepers'
    Association (GBKA).

More details are on the Membership page.
